To Order Posters
Step 1: visit the store and select your poster(s)
Step 2: send e-mail to jack to confirm availability
Step 3: wait for response
Step 4: after confimation print out the e-mail and send it along with a money order to: the bird machine, 4823 main street, skokie, IL 60077
Step 5: OR send payment via PayPal to: orders@thebirdmachine.com

the bird machine is a workshop, and is not set up for 'walk-in' retail sales. PLEASE DO NOT JUST "DROP IN". we will not have time for you, as we will probably be working. if you'd like to come by the shop, please email us so we can set up a good time to visit.

please note the following: posters in the "poster gallery" are not necessarily available. we stopped updated this section of the website in the fall of 2007 in anticipation of a totaly new website (due in 2008). please check the store to see the posters we currently have available for sale.

rights: i retain all rights to the images on these posters. i won't necessarily hire a lawyer to chase down any unauthorized uses of these images, but i do have a car, a trained attack bear, and the internet.

other: shipping is an additional $7 (in the us, international orders will be based on actual postage), regardless of the quantity of posters ordered. most posters are shipped loosely rolled, and those on un-rollable stock are shipped flat, which is kind of a pain in the ass, but it's fine. don't worry about it.

tax: we are required to charge sales tax for illinois residents. so, dear Illinois residents, please factor in 8.75% for the cost of posters. this tax does not apply to shipping charges. jack will give you a total for your order through email correspondence. please make sure he knows whether or not you are an illinois resident before your order is processed.

the big disclaimer: all prints offered are HAND PRINTED, and as a result theyretain what we like to call the inherent charm of the process. this means that prints may have minor spots, smudges or irregularities. if this makes you nervous, please keep in mind that i am not going to try to sell you a print that i feel is not up to the standard of the rest of the edition.
